LISSMAC – 3rd International Sales Meeting – a complete success

Sales partners from all over the world again followed the invitation from LISSMAC for the International  Sales Meeting of the business division Metal Processing for the third time on April 9th/10th, 2015.  The presentation of innovative new products for deburring, edge rounding and surface finish were the focus of this event.
The magnificant ambience of the Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee was the perfect location for an international  event  whose agenda  included product innovations, interesting sales tools and useful information for the participants. Welcoming the participants by the Managing Director, Mr Klaus Kiefer of the LISSMAC Group,  and the Sales Manager, Mr Robert, Dimmler, of the LISSMAC  Maschinenbau GmbH, both underlined the high significance of a strong, worldwide sales and service network and thanked the attendant partners for their considerable share in the sales success of the LISSMAC Metal Processing Products.
After the presentation of the LISSMAC-Group and the results of the last fiscal year, which marked, by the way, the most successful in company history, the event was focused on sales and marketing. Various new sales and marketing tools were presented. The presentation of the new website (www.lissmac.com) was the main issue. With this relaunch, all 4 business divisions of the LISSMAC-Group have been summerised on one platform. Furthermore, the previously independent Steelmaster-Hompage has also been integrated. Particular emphasis was placed on the user-friendliness. The visitors can access their desired products with a few clicks and via various entry points. The new website offers an ideal platform on information and presentation, such as a virtual company tour, for customers and sales partners.
The highlight of the two-day event was the exclusive presentation of two innovative new products. The motto “Nothing is more constant than changes”, LISSMAC is finding convincing answers or solutions to changing  demands in market within the scope of a continious process of development and innovation.
Edges can be deburred, rounded-off with the wet process of the flexible compact models of the SMW 123, followed by a surface finish. The machine types of the new SMW 1 series complete the previous range of wet grinding machines. LISSMAC succeeded a real milestone with the new SBM-XS 300 G1E1 for  double-sided processing of small parts with dimensions as of 25x25x1 mm in only one pass. The successful story of double-sided processing, which began in 2003, is now continued.  Small parts are first deburred on the upper side in the machine and then uniformly rounded-off, before they are turned reliably with the patented turning station, in order to be processed in the same way on the bottom side. ´
The interchangeability of views and experiences as well as the maintenance of the networks was an important part of this event. The participants had the opportunity to participate actively and to develop new ideas in different workshops.
The necessary compensation for the demanding conference program was also provided for, with an interesting tour on the different epoch of the automotive travelling at the Erwin Hymer Museum. The joint evening program was dedicated to short discussions and sports ‘competition’.
LISSMAC Maschinenbau GmbH would like to thank their sales partners for their active participation and valuable discussions.
