THE RIGHT SAW FOR FIREPROOF APPLICATIONS AND MATERIALS
MBS 502 with Dust Extraction
The cellular concrete band saw with fine dust extraction has significantly lower values than the maximum allowable concentration (3 mg/m³) recently once again lowered by the government

The LISSMAC cellular concrete band saw is specifically designed for the processing of fireproof materials and porous concrete.
The sophisticated technology of LISSMAC cellular concrete band saws is the result of many years of practice-oriented research and development.

  • Optimally dimensioned saw conveyors

The proper ratio between saw roller diameter, saw belt thickness and saw belt speed is one of the decisive factors for the service life of the saw belt.

  • Direct drive of the saw belt traction wheels

V-belts or other drive elements do not have to be serviced or maintained because the lower saw belt traction wheel is operated directly by a geared motor.

  • Sawing debris does not clutter or jam the lower saw roller box

The lower saw roller box has a large opening through which the sawing debris can slip easily.

  • Automatic saw belt tensioning

This ensures that the saw belt is properly and optimally tightened at all times. The saw belt is neither too tight nor too loose. This reduces cracks or other surface changes of the saw belt material and thus significantly reduces the risk of breakage. The exact tensioning of the saw belt yields optimal cutting accuracy.

  • Saw table quick coupling

It takes only one hand to open the saw table and the saw belt is consequently quickly replaced.

  • Automatic saw cut-off

No unnecessary saw belt stress because the saw belt only runs when sawing.

All saws of the MBS series feature an easy-to-use swivel saw table that uses very little space during transport or storage.

LISSMAC cellular concrete band saws are easily moved or transported by forklift, crane and simply pushing with two transport wheels.

  • Significantly lower values than the maximum concentration allowable by German law (3 mg/m³). This limit was lowered in 2002 following an EU directive.
  • Fine dust concentration (A category dust) reduced to approx. 1/100th of that produced by conventional band saws
  • Short amortisation period due to savings related to personnel protection measures and equipment such as dust masks and filters, for example
  • Significantly less soiling of workstations in close proximity and reduced dust hazards for employees
  • Optimally coordinated components guarantee the highest level of suction performance
